Winning strategies in Rummy
Strategies learned from experienced players will strengthen your game further.
Build a pure sequence first
Form at least one pure sequence without a joker. Without it, you cannot declare even if you are ready to win.
Watch your opponents' moves
Pay close attention to which cards other players are picking up and discarding. This gives you an idea of what is in their hands.
Discard high-value cards
If high-value cards (J, Q, K, Ace) do not fit into any set, discard them quickly — otherwise you will lose more points if you lose the round.
Use the joker wisely
The joker card is the most valuable. Use it to complete a set or sequence that would otherwise be impossible to finish.
